Can I mount the camera upside down?
Yes, if you have an existing junction box. Follow the installation manual.
What privacy features are included?
Create privacy zones, switch motion or audio recording off, and schedule motion alerts in the Ring app.
Does the camera save videos and photos?
A compatible Ring Protect subscription is needed to save and review recordings. Live View works without a subscription.
What is Ring Protect?
Ring Protect adds recording, photo capture, sharing and select advanced features through a separate subscription.
Do I need Ring Protect to use the camera?
No. You can use Live View and respond to alerts without a subscription, but recordings will not be saved.
